Motu Patlu Cartoons is a famous Indian animated series which is aired on NICKELODEON. This series concept is taken from old comic Lot Pot and now this 3d animated series is produced by Cosmos Maya. Its first episode was premiered October 16, 2012, its first episode name is "John Banega Don". Motu Patlu Cartoon series basically based on a fictional city named Fururi Nagar and its people and about friendship of two people or two friends Motu and Patlu.

Their is also a bad guy named John in this series, he is a thief and mostly called it self "John the Don", he steals things with his dumb companions named Number One and Number Two. John wants to become the biggest don but every time Motu Patlu fails his plans, the action and reaction strategy is followed in his plans he tricks motu patlu and in return they trick john and expose him.
Patlu: Patlu is a skinny bald guy who wear orange pajama and yellow kurta and glasses as well, he read newspaper daily in his house or in chaiwala shop, Patlu dont like samosas, he also loves to help people and he can do anything for his city and its people. Motu and Patlu lives together in the same house, patlu do all the house work including cooking, he sleeps on this floor of this house, like motu patlu also have some heroic power not super naturals, he is most intelligent guy who have solution of every problem.
Dr.Jhatka: He is a crazy intelligent scientist who experiments all the time and creating new gadgets some are dumb and some are hell crazy most of times, He helps motu patlu in every battle by developing antidotes, gadgets which helps motu patlu to solve problems, He is also half bald fat guy who wears green dress shirt with purple tie and blue jeans, Dr.Jhatka perform experiment in his lab and sometime he take his breakfast from chaiwala shop.
Ghasitaram: He is slim guy who wears brown waistcoat over blue kurta and purple dhoti, he also wear glasses, ghasitaram famous dialogue is He has a 20 years experience of everything, and this experience is not useful to anyone, and he used this dialogue in every situation. He also helps dr.jhatka in his lab.
Chingam: Inspector Chingam a funny police inspector who late every-time in solving any case, chingam, he believes that it is impossible to escape from its grasp. When he fires in the air to stop criminals every time he fires coconuts from space falls on him and he fall on the ground.
Chaiwala: A man who is famous in the entire city for his samosas, he lives near motu patlu house, he makes tea and samosa motu get samosas and sometimes steals his samosas. He rewards motu free samosas when motu saves FurFuri Nagar and its people form problems.
Boxer: He is motu patlu neighbor and he love to boxing all the time and like others he is not a good neighbor of motu patlu he often beats him, he is coward he only beats motu patlu.
John: John the Don a small in height and he is a bad guy too, who wants to become a don, he often steals peoples thing, he love to write short poems, he loot bank in FurFuri Nagar jewelry shops and more things. He wants to become a famous don but every time motu and patlu fails his plan. This characters is also mostly loved by kids after motu, patlu and chingam.
Number One and Number Two: Both are john the down left and right hand, these both 2 guys are fat and dumb, they work with john and every time inspector chingam arrest john they also get punished, when john give them any task and they dont perform it they get beaten by john the don. Bubblegum: Bubblegum, father of inspector chingam, he is also commissioner of police of FurFuri Nagar and adjoining villages.
Hera Singh and Pheri Lal: Both are hawaldar in Furfuri Nagar Police station work under inspector chingham and also left and right hand of inspector chingam. Hera and Pheri always praise inspector chingam.
Sabziwali: She is the only vegetable and fruit seller in FurFuri Nagar, motu owes money from her and some of time leave her in a trouble. When ever someone harm his vegetables she punish him, most of the time inspector chingam and motu punish by her as she is fiery temper.
